Dory's Smiley-Fest 2009 entry ahem entries lol

Well today I'm doing something different. Dory from Dory's Backyard is having a competition. She wants entries of smiley pets and a short story behind why they are smiling.
I couldn't decide between my 2 favorite pics of Patachou. My rottie angel.

I love this pic of Patachou. Patachou had just gotten home from his 4th round of radiation on his left back leg (knee). He loved going to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialist and was extra excited since they had put a t-shirt on him. He LOVED to wear clothes (which was fun to find since he was 104 lbs lol). All the docs/techs/staff signed the t-shirt :)

This is my computer screen background. Patachou was such a happy boy pretty much all the time. He loved to pose for pics too. Here he was lying on my bed happy to see me. He always smiled and especially loved blond little female dogs LOL. Such a flirt.
Anyway, these are my entries, voting will be on Dory's blog from Oct 25th to Nov 1st :) I'll be sure to remind everyone LOL.

OMD... what a gorgeous boy. I love both photos - the first one because of the t-shirt, and the second one because it's just fabulous! I would have liked Mr. Patachou... I have loved every single rottie I've met. *heart thumping*

Thanks everyone. He was such a sweet boy who loved me with all his heart and I loved him with all mine.

I think you are right the second one really shows his true personality and love.

He loved women and he just knew that every woman would fall in love with him lol.

I miss him sooo much and it's been over 2 yrs since he passed. I know I was sooo lucky to have met him and had him in my life those years when I needed him waaay more than he needed me.

Naqvee I really am so sorry for your loss. I firmly believe that our babies go to the rainbow bridge and that we meet up with them later. Hugs to you!
