Sassy - 9 weeks old - Oct 1 and.......

Before showing pics of Sassy :) I wanted to show the beautiful engagement ring Jostein gave me :) He proposed on Oct 1st, 2012. We went out to eat at Big Horn Steak House in Drammen. Had a lovely dinner.  He arranged for the waitress to bring out a dessert shaped in a form of a heart with the ring box on the plate.  I forgot to take a pic in my excitement :)

Well I have totally sucked at posting since Sassy got home. I have gotten pics but not been good at getting the pics up.  If we are friends on facebook then you have seem most of these already.

I will post several posts with pics which have been taken since she got home.  Hopefully next year I will be much better at posting on a regular basis lol.

Last weekend I posted about Snipp's Svelvikdagen.  Well while we were there the local newspaper Svelvik Posten were out taking pictures of the event.  Snipp stirred up enough of attention that they asked to take our pic with Snipp :)

Yes you see it right I am posting again :)

This weekend Svelvik has what is call Svelvikdagene where they close of the main street and set up booths and the town band plays music.  Jostein and I decided to come down on Saturday and brought Snipp with us.  To say he was a huge hit is an understatement :)

Hyttetur / Trip to the mountain cabin Jan 2012

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year.  Yes it has been that long since I posted *hangs head in shame* lol.

But to make up for it I'm going to share pics for a lovely weekend 4 girlfriends and I took to a beautiful cabin (ok full fledged house) up in the mountains in Veggli, Norway, which is about 1 1/2 hr from Kongsberg.  One of the girls has a lovely cabin up there.  Totally the way a cabin should be (if you ask me) with all the amenities of home :)  No cabin without electricity or indoor plumbing for me (yes I admit I'm a snob LOL)



It snowed quite a bit while we were there.  Not to cold so being outside was still fun :)

I just wanted to wish you a wonderful Halloween :)  Halloween has sorta come to Norway but it isn't the same as back in the USA :)  Somehow the pics I had taken of Patachou dressed as a skunk are missing.  But thought these might make a good substitute.

I had planned to blog yesterday after work but as you know what they say about the best laid plans lol.  Anyway, we finally got internet out at the farm :)  So very excited about this.  I'm actually working on this on my personal laptop after work lol.  WARNING: there are a lot of pics in the blog post :)

She really likes to carry something when she goes for walks.  Reminds me of Patachou :)

Puppy weekend fun!!

Venus 15 weeks old

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Here we had both rain and sunshine which was a nice change lol.  Started Saturday with marathon shopping at Bauhaus (like Home Depot and Lowe's) and Ikea :)  A few thousand Norwegian Krones (several hundred dollars) later we brought our haul home lol.  I'm sooo happy to have a big car.  Was able to fit everything in even had place for more lol.

I really need to grow into these ears lol

I'm back :) I moved and other news :)

Soooo sorry for the long absence from the blogger world.  I've been very very bad about not only writing a blog post but reading others *hangs head in shame*.

But I hope to change this.  I need better internet at home otherwise I have to bring my laptop to work and it do it after working hours.

Anyway :) I moved into a house with 2 friends, Melanie who is originally from Germany, and Riku who is originally from Finland.  The house is in Skollenborg about 15 min from Kongsberg where I work.  It is on a farm (no farm animals darn lol).  Nice and quiet out in the country.  Lots of farm land around with a population of around 300 or soo lol.  Kongsberg is huge compared to Skollenborg lol.
